BUILDING INSPECTIONS SERVICES Building  Inspections Services is responsible for issuance of Building Permits and for inspecting all commercial and residential construction within the city limits of Irondale. The Building  Inspections Services is also  responsible for enforcing city ordinances and investigating  citizens complaints dealing with all types of nuisance violations. The Building Inspections Officer and the Fire Marshall make joint yearly inspections of all Irondale Businesses to ensure enforcement of Building and Fire Codes to promote the public welfare.
