    This is a link to PBS online.   • Microsoft Access 2002 [software on machines]
    This software allows the user to create and edit databases. It also allows the user to create forms for entering information into databases and create reports about information already entered into databases.

  • Microsoft Excel 2002 [software on machines]
    This software allows the user to create spreadsheets. It also allows the user to create reports from data entered into spreadsheets and create sums in columns or rows from data entered into spreadsheets.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 [web browser]
    This software is the web browser for all public computers. It allows the user to access the Internet. NOTE: Because we are a public library and receive federal funding, we are required by law to filter our Internet service. Patrons may ask at the front desk about having a staff member override a page as long as they are (a) over the age of 18 [parents must be present during the entire session for children under 18] and (b) the viewing is for legitimate research.

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 [software on machines]
    This software allows the user to create slide show presentations. It allows the user to chose from AutoContent wizard, Template, and Blank presentation.

  • Microsoft Publisher 2002 [software on machines]
    This software allows the user to create various publications. These publications can include, but are not limited to, the following: newsletters, web sites, brochures, catalogs, flyers, signs, postcards, invitation cards, greeting cards, business cards, resumes, letterheads, envelopes, business forms, calendars, advertisements, award certificates, gift certificates, labels, menus, programs, and origami. It also allows the user to create publications from scratch by selecting "blank page."

  • Microsoft Word 2002 [software on machines]
    This software is a word processor. It allows the user to type on a blank page. By selecting "File," "New," and then "General Templates" the user can chose from the following templates and wizards: Web Page, E-mail Message, Pleading Wizard, Contemporary Fax, Contemporary Letter, Elegant Fax, Elegant Letter, Envelope Wizard, Fax Wizard, Letter Wizard, Mailing Label Wizard, Professional Fax, Professional Letter, Contemporary Merge Address List, Contemporary Merge Fax, Contemporary Merge Letter, Elegant Merge Address List, Elegant Merge Fax, Elegant Merge Letter, Plain Merge Letter, Professional Merge Address List, Professional Merge Fax, Professional Merge Letter, Contemporary Memo, Elegant Memo, Memo Wizard, Professional Memo, Agenda Wizard, Batch Conversion Wizard, Calendar Wizard, Contemporary Resume, Elegant Resume, Professional Resume, Resume Wizard, Brochure, Directory, Manual, Thesis, Contemporary Report, Elegant Report, Professional Report, and Web Page Wizard [along with the following page formats: column with contents, frequently asked questions, left-aligned column, personal web page, right-aligned column, simple layout, and table of contents].
